Unlike other benches and chairs with backs, the lowest point in this seat’s curve is directly in the center, allowing you to face either way. The Madison Backless Bench - part of the Chapman Collection - is crafted to be a stable and attractive bench. It can be used for seating at a rectangular dining table or in area where a bench with a back would be too tall. Expertly crafted from solid premium teak with mortise and tenon joinery for decades to come. Quality built for generations.

Teak is a hard, functional wood, similar to oak, which has been used by shipbuilders for centuries. Its natural oils make it resistent to water, chemical agents, and weathering. These qualities make it very fitting for outdoor furniture while remaining gorgeous indoors as well.

Fantastic Customer Service

I ordered 2 of the 4' Madison backless benches - they were unavailable and the Casablanca benches were substituted at my original purchase price - All Garden Benches provided superior customer service - the benches arrived promptly in excellent condition - I put them together with my son-in-law - we put on one set of legs - then the bar between the legs and then the other set of legs - we applied the glue with a small bristle brush - pounded in the dowels with a rubber mallet and piece of wood over the dowels to prevent damaging the teak - both benches went together easily - the first bench took a bit more time to put together - but once we got the necessary tools to put the benches together we were done quickly - the benches are gorgeous - high quality - really like the curved seat.
