A Classic Porch Swing with Old Fashioned Customer Service!

I was about to order the Royal Tahiti porch swing by International Caravan made of balau wood. It was 1/2 the price but the slats are widely spaced, back support is straight, & it's not made of real teak. Then I found the Teak Swing with steam curved seat & back slats, classic lines & solid brass hardware. It costs more but it's something I'll have for many years so I wanted something comfortable, well made, & good looking. You're getting a higher quality more comfortable swing that's a great value considering. I see other similar teak swings selling for as much as 2000$.

Was easy to assemble, comfortable lumbar back support, generous width, solid brass hardware. Surprised we can fit 3 adults side by side. Slightly raised front edge of seat gets a bit uncomfortable below knees after sitting awhile so I ordered the optional cushion set. The rope tends to slip through the hinges at top so manufacturer recommends wrapping top section in twine. I opted to buy a pair of rope clamps instead.
